Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED revealed yesterday that patch 1.03 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PS4 and Xbox One was in the certification process and would be released soon. It now seems that the PS4 patch was released last night for the PlayStation 4 while the Xbox One version’s patch is in certification at Microsoft.

The long awaited patch 1.03 adds a myriad of fixes and changes to both current gen console versions, fixing bugs such as spontaneous combustion of gas clouds and the ability to shoot friendly NPCs with bolts. It also reduces foliage shadow popping and behaviour in scenes; fixes graphics bugs that pop up in Gwent; improves SFX; further stabilizes gameplay and UI; blood particles now properly appearing on water surfaces on killing foes; and much more.

The PC version is currently at version 1.04 and has seen quicker patching due to lack of a certification process on the platform. Stay tuned for more information on the update releasing for Xbox One and other regions worldwide.
