The Xbox Game Pass catalog keeps on swelling each week as more and more new games are added to it on a consistent basis, and Microsoft might be gearing up to announce the addition of another bigger one very soon. And ahead of that announcement, it seems they themselves have leaked it (there’s plenty of that going on today).
As spotted by a user over on Reddit, Microsoft showed CD Projekt RED’s 2015 award-winning open world RPG The Witcher 3 in a Twitch ad for Xbox Game Pass. The ad showed the likes of Gears 5, The Outer Worlds, and Devil May Cry 5, all of which are already on the service, before nonchalantly showing The Witcher 3 as well. Curiously, it would seem the game is only being added to Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One, and not on PC.
Microsoft have promised some big Xbox Game Pass-related news at X019 later today, and it’s likely that this will be part of that. Meanwhile, the show will also have playable demos for several upcoming titles, while leaks also suggest there will be announcements for new first party IPs. Just don’t expect any Xbox Scarlett news.
