The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive two new expansions in the form of Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine which collectively add 30 hours of content. However, it seems that the second expansion may feature the return of Shani from the first Witcher game.

The one clue is that the artwork for the expansion pass was updated to feature a red-haired woman in Blood & Wine. In response to this, community manager Marcin Momot said that, “As far as the character portrayed on the illustration, we’ll leave that for the community to figure out.” Momot did confirm to GameSpot that the artwork is genuine though so there’s that.

Hearts of Stone will be out in October and features a new story set in No Man’s Land and Oxenfurt featuring the mysterious “Man of Glass”. Blood & Wine will have a brand new area however and reportedly lasts 20 hours. What are your thoughts on Shani’s return? Let us know in the comments.
