CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is mere hours away from launch and if you’re pre-ordered and pre-downloaded the game online through GOG, Steam, Xbox Live or PSN, you’ll be able to play it as soon as it’s live. However, what about the free DLC that players were promised would arrive, leading up to 16 weeks of free DLC for the game?

As it turns out, the first two pieces of free DLC will be going live as soon as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is released. This is according to CD Projekt RED community lead & website coordinator Marcin Momot on Twitter. “Regarding the FREE DLC, the 1st two pieces will become available today when the game officially launches.”
