The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

The free DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt continues to roll on and with two content packs left, CD Projekt RED has unveiled this week’s DLC – new finishing animations.

If you’re familiar with combat in The Witcher 3, then you’ll know that Geralt typically decapitates foes or runs a sword through their heart when killing them. We’re not sure what other finishing animations could be added (aside from the image above which hints at Geralt lopping off an enemy’s entire upper body) but we can’t wait.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has already received a bevy of free DLC since its launch including alternate costumes for its main cast, new quests, Scavenger Hunts for new equipment, new weapons and new armour. It also recently received patch 1.07 which added a player stash and new movement system among other things.

What are your thoughts on this week’s DLC? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on when the update goes live.
