Two DLCs per week for any one who owns a copy – physical or digital – of the game.

Yes, that’s not a typo – CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have not one, not two, not three (and so on) but SIXTEEN free DLC packs when it releases in February 2015. The first two DLC packs will be the Temerian Armour Set, which also includes armour for one’s horse, and the Beard and Hairstyle Set to modify Geralt’s appearance. These will be available one day after the game’s official release.
From there, the developer will release two free DLC packs a week until it hits the magic number 16. Keep in mind that all of these DLC packs will be completely free regardless of whether you’ve already ordered the game or not, whether you pick up a digital copy or a physical copy, platform be damned.
Really, at this point, how can one not love CD Projekt RED?
Any queries and questions regarding the free DLCs are answered in this open letter by studio co-founder Marcin Iwiński. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on February 24th 2015 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
