CD Projekt RED has released a patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that allows it to support the Xbox One X. Along with support for high dynamic range (HDR) lighting, the patch also introduces two new graphics modes for Xbox One X players.

The first is 4K mode which lets you run the game in 4K resolution at 30 FPS on a supporting monitor or supersampled on a non-4K screen. The second is Performance mode which supports a dynamic resolution from 1080p to 4K and targets 60 FPS. Regardless of which mode you choose, HDR is available for both.

The patch also adds enhanced shadows, ambient occlusion and texture filtering for the Xbox One X version along with higher resolution textures. HDR support will be release for the PlayStation 4 Pro “soon” so stay tuned for more details on that.
