Before The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes out, CD Projekt RED will deliver a different Witcher game to the mobile masses with The Witcher Battle Arena. Announced in late 2014, the multiplayer online battle arena or MOBA title will be out on January 22nd for Android and iOS. It will also be free to play and though supporting in-app purchases, the publisher has promised that they won’t be of the pay-to-win variety.

Developed by Fuero Games, The Witcher Battle Arena will have a variety of different characters and classes with various skills to specialize in. Players will team up together and compete against another team for supremacy, similar to games like League of Legends and Dota 2. The difference with Battle Arena though is that it will be a “mobile-focused experience” and promises “great accessibility” along with a relatively balanced learning curve.

Will you be picking up The Witcher Battle Arena this Thursday? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
