The remaster also saw Telltale Games upgrading the character models, revamping the environments with new textures and props, and more.

While most long-time fans are doubtless looking forward to The Wolf Among Us 2, The Wolf Among Us Remastered could be the perfect avenue for newcomers to jump on board. Launching later this month, the remaster’s features and improvements have been outlined in a new overview trailer, including Noir Mode.

And it’s exactly what it sounds like: a black-and-white filter fitting of Bigby Wolf’s detective story. You can switch between it and the remastered look with the press of a button, in case you want to compare certain scenes with their noir versions.

There’s also an hour-plus of bonus content, and while the cast interviews, concept art and whatnot are interesting, the fully playable five deleted scenes caught our attention. Telltale Games also teases some new secrets within the original story.

Of course, the presentation also deserves a mention for the changes to all characters, from fresh concept art to higher-detail models. Some differences look subtle in some cases, but absolutely incredible in others, and the environments themselves look more packed. It’s also interesting to see how some floors, wallpaper and other textures have changed to reflect their in-game lore.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered lands on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Stay tuned for more details, especially at the upcoming ID@Xbox Showcase on October 20th.
