Has it really been a dozen years since we first spoke about The Wolf Among Us coming out? The time really has flown, what with a sequel that we often thought was a distant dream now on the way.
Well, The Wolf Among Us Remastered is probably a great way to pass the time until the sequel drops, and it now has an October 29th release date. You’re going to be investigating a murder that sets off a chain of events across five chapters in an adventure that puts you in control of protagonist Bigby’s search for answers. Enhanced visuals, refined presentation, an improved UI, upgraded animations, audio, and obvious boosts to resolutions and framerates are all on the cards, making this the potentially definitive way to experience the franchise’s debut title.
It’s definitely worth a look if you’re interested in The Wolf Among Us 2, which launches in 2027, and we certainly would like to go back to this one considering how intriguing it was back in the day in a story that still punches above its weight. The trailer below (courtesy of IGN) should give you a good idea of what we mean and show off the remaster’s improvements while you’re there.
