THQ Nordic

Despite attending last year, THQ Nordic has revealed it won’t be at Gamescom 2023 in B2C or B2B areas. In an official announcement, it confirmed stopping “all major show-related activities” for this year and that Gamescom was no exception. It may be present at next year’s show, though.

The good news is that it still has announcements to make, with a showcase taking place on August 11th at noon PDT. It will air live on YouTube and Twitch, though it hasn’t announced which games will be present. Last year saw the announcement of titles like SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, The Valiant and so on.

Stay tuned for more announcements from this year’s show. THQ Nordic joins the likes of Sony, which is also skipping this year’s show. However, fans can look forward to companies like Nintendo, Microsoft and Bethesda attending. Gamescom Opening Night Live is also confirmed to return on August 22nd.
