During Electronic Arts’ quarterly earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that Respawn Entertainment, developer of the Titanfall series, has multiple titles in the works that would launch by 2019 end. Wilson noted that these titles would be out by “next holiday season”. While we already know about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it seems the developer’s unnamed VR title will be out by then as well.
“Across multiple studies, we have new projects underway, including games from Respawn that are slated to launch by next holiday season,” Wilson said. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was announced at E3 2018, with Respawn CEO Vince Zampella promising more details at next year’s conference. It was already confirmed to be launching by 2019’s holiday season though.
Aside from the VR title, what else could Respawn have in development? Titanfall 3 perhaps? Regardless of what’s coming, Fallen Order should satisfy fans looking for a decent action game. It’s set between Episodes 3 and 4, with the Jedi being exterminated. Players will definitely be able to use lightsabers, and the game’s overall tone is touted as being “dark”.
