Ah, salarians. You may look funny, you may sound funny, and hell, you even talk funny, but dammit if you aren’t one of the most formidable and respectable alien races in the world of Mass Effect. A culture full of geniuses- that’s basically what they are. Their minds move faster than most races can possibly imagine, and though that does, to be fair, give them a bit of a superiority complex, they’re also excellent problem solvers, and often make for excellent spies. They share a long-standing conflict with the krogans (but then again, who doesn’t, right?) and were respnsible for the creation of the genophage. Thanks to Mordin Solus, who is, of course, the very model of a scientist salarian, Mass Effect fans have also been able to see the race at their very best.
