6. Guybrush Threepwood
Guybrush is yet another hero so lacking in self-awareness that it fuels countless in-game gags and jokes. What would Monkey Island be without Guybrush and his moronic mind set? This is probably best demonstrated in the insult sword fighting from the first Monkey Island game. It’s a memorable scene indeed, and it’s all down to Threepwood’s immense tomfoolery.
5. Rincewind
Terry Pratchett is a witty author indeed, with an impressive knack for creating nonsensical characters in his colourful Discworld universe. Rincewind is probably one of his best creations, so it seems obvious that Rincewind’s digital incarnation would be equally amusing. Just take the intro to the game as an example. So he’s hanging around with a monkey, he’s pissed out of his brains and somehow manages to kill death. What an idiot. You gotta love the guy, and it does set up the entirety of an immensely enjoyable point and click game. But still. Who does that?
4. Travis Touchdown
Well he’s definitely the most perveted on this list, and it’s his single-minded and supposedly dick-first trail of thought that grants Travis Touchdown such a high place on the list. After accidentally working his way up the elite Assassin leaderboards, he has to fight the most dangerous killers in Santa Destroy. Why does he do, this you may be thinking? All so he can get a cheeky night of romance (or lack thereof) with the gorgeous Trish. No woman is worth that much danger, granting Travis his official title of moron supreme.
