Abandon Mission – Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut
Mass Effect 3, for all its ending faults, was a pretty good game. Still, Bioware wanted to cater to its fans and released the Extended Cut with all new endings. One such ending sees Shepard not activating the Crucible on Earth when his teammates are injured by the Reapers. Keep in mind that he calls the Normandy for evacuating them and could very well continue on his own. Instead, Shepard can abandon the mission, which sees the Reapers winning (though they are defeated in the next cycle).
