Self-Destruct Ending – The Stanley Parable

There a number of endings in The Stanley Parable but if you follow the most basic one, discovering a giant Mind Control Machine that Stanley’s higher-ups are using on him and his co-workers, it can either be turned on or off. Turning it on will assume that Stanley wants to take control of it for himself. Of course, the Narrator uses this opportunity to trap Stanley and activate a nuclear device, ticking away the minutes until his demise and mocking him all the while. Who’s really evil in this scene though? Stanley, who tried to exert total control over all, or the Narrator who decided to stop him?
