Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst

Fortunately, EA’s presser wasn’t a total bust. We had a rather long look at in-game footage from Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and it was easily a winner. The overall design of the city looked great and the movement mechanics looked a lot more fluid than the previous game (we’ll eventually find out if they control as great later). It also helped that we didn’t quite know what to expect, which made for a great mix of infiltration, running, escaping and combat. If the final release can deliver even half of that thrill, we’re totally on board. Hopefully DICE has a lot more up its sleeve that we don’t know about though.
