5. Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Initiative is going strong with each new release, and the latest in line Rebirth is no different. It takes it a step further with a shift to a semi-open-world structure, and what makes it interesting is that this jump in scale didn’t come at the cost of rendering quality. Character models have high polycounts and don clothes made of physically based materials, foliage and other environment details are top notch, and animation work is equally competent which rounds out a really good looking presentation.
