9. Tekken 8
As the first fighting game to use modern Unreal Engine 5 tech, Tekken 8 visually dazzled us on Xbox Series X. One of the main contributing factors to Tekken 8’s visual success is its exclusivity to modern gen systems, eschewing Xbox One entirely. The Xbox Series X pulls no punches with its 4K dynamic resolution scaler, which has been noted as the highest fidelity among console platforms. Characters abound with detail, from Leroy’s stylishly decorated jacket to the bristles of fur on the beloved Panda bodyguard. Few fighting games on the market can match Tekken 8’s fluid and fast animations.
