Soulcalibur 6
Soulcalibur 6 felt appropriately like a homecoming – a return to a stage of history that was once thought lost. It features new and returning fighters with familiar move-sets and mechanics like Armor Break but the weapon-based combat is still second to none. Some of the newer additions like Reversal Edge and the new Soul Charge mix up combat, offering a bit more strategy (even as you battle against the urge to scream whenever suffering a Ring Out). Soul Chronicle mode is pretty forgettable but Libra of Soul can be a decent past-time, especially with how good the customization is. Coupled with great DLC fighters like 2B and Cassandra and Soulcalibur 6 stands out as one of the more underrated but fun fighting games out now.
