BlazBlue: Central Fiction
Equal parts visual novel and fighting game, BlazBlue: Central Fiction offers an end to the Azure Saga while touting 35 fighters, each with suitably insane moves to master. These can be further augmented with Overdrive, making unique abilities even more over-the-top and turning fights around when a fighter is weak. Then you have Active Flow which charges based on one’s aggression and the special Exceed Accel. Despite the appealing visuals, BlazBlue: Central Fiction is suitably more hardcore than Arc System Works’ other titles. But the sheer depth in its mechanics, not to mention the lengthy story mode, makes it worth checking out.
