David Cage’s games may be about choice but deep down, they’re meant to be narratives with a message. Though Detroit: Become Human lays it on rather thick and may not be the most competently handled story, the narrative reflects the rippling effect of your choices pretty well. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the visuals are excellent and the characters are mostly enjoyable, even when they’re self-destructing in their own ways.
