9. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
One of the best action games in years, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a staggering effort in many ways. The attention to detail, especially for something like Warhammer 40K, is incredible. The visual fidelity, whether admiring the environments or witnessing a swarm of Tyranids for the first time, is impeccable. But above all else, the combat and its seamless shifts between ranged fire and melee strikes are visceral and just plain satisfying. And if you had your fill of the campaign, Operations and Eternal War provide plenty of reasons to return.
