10. Lies of P
This Souls-like experience probably caused some Xbox players to turn to Bloodborne fans and tearfully proclaim, “I get it now.” Though different in many ways, Lies of P combines a dark atmosphere with a fast-paced combat system relying on transforming weapons and brutally challenging foes. It embraces parrying over visceral strikes, but the sheer range of weaponry and customization, combined with the sharp environments and visual direction, make it one of the best contemporary Souls-likes thus far.
