Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Taking place alongside the events of Resident Evil 2 we’re thrust into the chaotic Raccoon City as Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape the ensuing zombie outbreak. The star of the show though – and principal reason why RE3 is arguably the hardest of all classic Resident Evil’s – is the rocket launcher equipped tyrant Nemesis. It’s constant stalking of Jill elicits constant paranoia in the player, and whilst numerous Resident Evil games have featured persistent pursuers none have ever felt as threatening as Nemesis.
