4. Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Another game that took the stage at the Xbox Games Showcase was Dragon Age: The Veilgard, which looks like the perfect successor to Inquisition which came out all the way back in 2014. The extensive gameplay reveal takes us through different aspects of the experience ranging from exploration to combat and customization and much more. New combat options like blocking and parrying have been introduced making it more action-oriented than prior entries, but story choices and companions continue to be an important part of the experience – so it’s looking like a potent mix of new and old. Dragon Age: The Veilgard will be released sometime in Fall 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
