5. Gears of War: E-Day
Talking about prequels to fan-beloved series, we have Gears of War: E-Day which was also shown off at the Xbox event. The story takes us all the way back to Emergence Day and how the planet of Sera reacted to the Locust invasion, all of which point towards a more emotionally charged narrative. Marcus Fenix will once again star as the protagonist of the story, and that coupled with a darker and more horrifying story should make for a fresh experience. We also got confirmation for new visual effects like ray tracing and suffice it to say – we are pretty excited to see what it’s all about.
