When No Man’s Sky first came out, the game’s ending (read: Reaching the centre of the galaxy) was lack-lustre. You reach it, the game restarts, your progress carries over. Say what you will about all of it being a simulation created by the Atlas but that’s all there was. It was pretty stupid but there is a silver lining. Hello Games’ Atlas Rising update added 30 hours of narrative content so maybe that means a new ending. Maybe.
