Grand Theft Auto 5 PC
Why is a game that released roughly a year ago on the Xbox 360 and PS3 before coming to the Xbox One and PS4 so anticipated on PC? For the simple reason that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been retooled, thanks to the current gen update, to look better, play better and offer much more for the PC audience.
But that’s not all. If rumours are correct, the open world crime epic is being ported over by the same time that brought Max Payne 3 to PC. This means that not only is it being optimized for the platform but that it could end up looking even better than the Xbox One and PS4 versions. There’s also the first person mode which is of course more suited to a mouse and keyboard set-up, effectively turning GTA 5 on PC into what will be the best open world shooter (sorry Far Cry 4, but you just don’t measure up).
Finally, as with GTA IV, there will be plenty of mod support for the fifth iteration leading to even better visuals and other modifications down the line. Could multiplayer heists be included? We’ll find out in the coming months.
