Planetary Annihilation:
Planetary Annihilation is the spiritual successor to games like Total Annihilation and the Supreme Commander series. Like these games, this newest RTS game puts you in control of large military army that takes over planets before doing battle with your enemies. With the ability to launch large, interplanetary combat and actually use things like asteroids as massive, guided missiles and the ability to wield a gigantic robotic army, really makes this game an attractive choice for any fan of an RTS game, especially if you want something a bit different than the norm.
Uber Entertainment has got a good idea going on, and in fact actually has this game as a “work-in-progress,” kind of beta on Steam, there really isn’t too much longer to wait for this game, that is if you choose to wait. The game did originally launch on Steam at about $90.00, but since then the price has come down. If you loved this style of large-scale, Real Time Strategy then you should keep an eye on Planetary Annihilation.
