Cave Johnson was supposed to be the main antagonist for Portal 2
Judging from all the rambling from Cave Johnson, I would say that he would make for a kick ass main villain in a game, and he was supposed to be one in Portal 2. Cave Johnson originally played a much larger role in Portal 2. But then they decided to opt for Wheatley to be the villain, which as it turns was not a bad second choice.
