This stage occurs when Chell and the player are trying to thwart GlaDOS’s plan to kill Chell and Wheatley. What’s amazing about this stage is Chell can remove the main turret template and replaces it with a defective one, so that they will malfunction and not fire when they are supposed to. However Chell herself can stand in the scanner and act as a template, though it will do nothing for the other turrets, it will earn you an achievement.  Once the blue lasers have analyzed you, the Achievement / Trophy will pop up.
