I would really like to think that Doug Rattman has a profound impact on the portal universe, and yet not many people know of him and his exploits or rambling, which by the way are quite important. If the player manages to find and take the radio out of the trash that GlaDOS drops in this chamber, the player can take it to Rat Man’s secret office near the ceiling. Once there it’ll emit an unexplained screeching noise that, when you decrypt it, will create an image of a Companion Cube, which is inexplicably on the moon.
