Peripherals are extremely important for extending the hardware’s basic functionalities. We haven’t grown out of them but rather we would love to see more come into market. One peripheral that was used by many gamers on the Xbox 360 was the chatpad. This was a little device that connected directly to the Xbox 360 controller and featured a keyboard. Gamers no longer had to type out each letter through the analog stick but can easily type out complete messages just as if they were using a QWERTY phone keyboard. Needless to say, we would love to have one of these devices for the DualShock 4 controller.
