Mortal Kombat 2
How could we not include this classic game? Now The original Mortal Kombat is one of the most controversial games of all time. The only thing it had in higher volume than gore and violence was people that wanted to play it and soak in all the gore and violence. Granted that it was watered down for the kids and mostly parent sanity, but Mortal Kombat 2 did no such thing. Mortal Kombat 2 was as grisly and gory as you would find in the butcher shop. The game had an expanded roster from seven to 12 gave us more characters to learn, the new stages included brand-new hazards to use against our enemies.
