Farmville- Farm town
Farmville is annoying, but it is successful nonetheless, the game currently has 63,370,436 monthly active users worldwide. In February 2009, an unknown company called Slashkey released a game on Facebook called Farm Town, which utilized much of the similar gameplay that we see in Farmtown, and in a couple of months the game became a massive hit. Now Zynga took notice and took over the game, and renamed it, and had the audacity to use similar code and gameplay mechanics. In the end Farmville became the hit and annoyance that we know of today.
