Those hoping on to Twitch and start streaming their gameplay experiences via Twitch are in for some bad news. The service won’t be available for the Xbox One until the first quarter of 2014.

Regarding the lack of Twitch on launch day, the company stated that, “We are working to ensure the initial Twitch on Xbox One broadcasting experience meets the expectations of the Twitch community. So while this feature won’t be available right away, we’ll let you know as soon as it is ready.”

It’s important to note that you’ll still be able to watch streaming video. Streaming video directly from the Xbox One isn’t happening any time soon though. We’ll need to wait till next year for any updates.

Meanwhile, the Xbox One will be launching on November 22nd in 13 territories worldwide with Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome. Fighter Within and many more games as launch titles.
