SIE Santa Monica’s critically acclaimed God of War is still running the gamut on UK sales charts as per Gfk Chart-Track. Though it only accounts for physical retail sales, the PS4 exclusive is spending its fifth week on top in a row.

Even God of War doesn’t beat The Last of Us on PS3 at six straight weeks on top or Gran Turismo 3 on PS2 with eight weeks on top, it’s already a bonafide success. Sony confirmed that it had sold 3.1 million units within the first three days of launch, making it the fastest selling PS4 exclusive ever.

FIFA 18 is still in second place followed by the debuting Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition at third. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze fell two places to fourth while Far Cry 5 fell to fifth. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Call of Duty: WW2 round out the remaining top 10.
