A tracker website has calculated that the release of Halo: Reach has led to a 99% boost in sales for Xbox 360 consoles.
The director of Gfk-ChartTrack stated that the game had a ‘marked effect’ on sales of the console, boosting sales ‘by 99%’.
Halo: Reach had the 5th biggest game launch week ever, shifting over 300,000 on its day of release. It is thought that GAME‘s special model of the 360 had something to do with the UK’s particularly high sales.
This news comes just after GamingBolt reported that Halo: Reach was the best selling 360 exclusive in history.
