Unravel

ColdWood Interactive’s Unravel is quickly nearing its release and the developer has unveiled a new trailer, this time focusing on the environments that players will explore. Check it out below with creative director Martin Sahlin providing information on the overall locations and how the environment assists in telling the story without using any dialogue.

Unravel is a tale about “love” and what happens when we move away from those that we love. It follows the tale of Yarny, a little figure made of string that navigates through various environments, using his string to solve puzzles and ably navigate obstacles in the process. Unravel is intriguing for its simplicity and beautiful visuals, not to mention its relatively indie nature – we can’t remember the last time EA pushed a small title so strongly but we like it.

Unravel releases on February 9th 2016 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC as a downloadable title. What are your thoughts on the latest trailer? Let us know in the comments.
