Valheim Sells Over 3 Million Units

Iron Gate AB’s Valheim continues to soar to greater heights, selling over three million units in Steam Early Access since launching on February 2nd. This is just one day after The Embracer Group revealed it was close to selling three million. The developer thanked players on Twitter, stating that, “There are no words for how this feels.”

In a post on Steam, Iron Gate revealed some interesting stats and figures. Thus far, Valheim has over 60,000 user reviews with an overall rating of “Overwhelmingly Positive.” It’s officially 78th among Steam’s top 250 best reviewed games of all time and the seventh most streamed game on Twitch.

In terms of viewership, it’s already amassed over 20 million hours of gameplay watched. Though the response to Valheim has been very positive, the development team is only just getting started. It’s addressing bugs and other issues these days but has plans to add more recipes, boat customization, a new biome in the Mistlands and maybe even mini-bosses.
