Developer poncle has dropped a new update for Vampire Survivors, the rogue-lite wave-based survival title. Version 0.5.2 adds a new character that uses the Shadow Pinion, a new weapon, to slay foes with sick shreds along with having a weapon evolution from the start. Check out the teaser below.
Two new weapon evolutions have been added including one that alters the Gatti Amari. A new item pick-up is also available along with two new Arcanas, another rank for Banish and a new relic/minor gameplay option. Some sprites have also been updated and a fullscreen toggle has been added to the Options menu. Furthermore, some bugs like Celestial Dusting fire rate being affected by one’s frame rate have also been fixed.
Vampire Survivors is currently available on PC via Steam Early Access. It’s been receiving a steady stream of updates over the past few months since exploding in popularity. Stay tuned for details on other updates in the coming weeks.
