Alright, there was nothing inadvertent about this. Kratos was never really the good guy (at least not in the series’ first saga), and he was very much an antihero, right from the first instalment. Sure, he was fighting against the clearly-evil Ares, but God of War had us playing as a person who could oly e described as an absolute bad guy.
