After the first image for the same was revealed for the same, Warcraft film director Duncan Jones has confirmed via Twitter that principal filming on the project will conclude in roughly three weeks.

“For those counting down with me, we’re done shooting Warcraft in three weeks as of tomorrow.” There will still be tons of post-production work left but for now, the project seems to be coasting along well.

Based on Blizzard Entertainment’s best-selling franchise, Warcraft will adapt the entire franchise. It will detail the first meeting between Humans and Orcs, and most likely show us the beginning of the war between both factions. For fans of World of Warcraft, it won’t cover that particular title. We could see elements from the massively multiplayer online RPG so stay tuned.

The Warcraft film is currently expected to release on March 2016 and will star Dominic Cooper in the leading role. Are you looking forward to the movie? Let us know what you think of the progress thus far in the comments below.
