After its most recent overview video and behind-the-scenes trailer, Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has received even more new details. In new Steam Community post, the developer confirmed that the campaign would last approximately 12 hours, as players control Lieutenant Titus in the ongoing fight against the forces of the Tyranids and Chaos.
Though you can tackle the campaign in co-op, there’s also Operations Mode, which supports up to three players (though you can also tackle it solo). It offers six unique maps to fight the Tyranids, promising “endlessly replayable PvE action.” Eternal War is the PvP component and provides three modes – Annihilation (Team Deathmatch), Seize Ground (Domination) and Capture and Control (King of the Hill).
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launches on September 9th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Head here for even more gameplay and here to see Kadaku, a planet known for its marshlands and forests (alongside the abundance of Tyranids).
