Doesn't seem like you can shoot him.

Ubisoft’s penchant for placing cameo characters in different games across its catalog is well known. In fact, Watch Dogs featured Aisha Tyler – who hosts Ubisoft’s E3 shows – as herself.

However, that isn’t the last we’ve heard of Watch Dogs. In the open beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division, eagle-eyed players on Reddit have spotted an individual who looks mysteriously like Watch Dogs protagonist Aiden Pearce. It’s a bit off in the distance but the tell-tale coat and hat are unmistakable.

It’s unlikely the man himself makes a cameo since, well, Watch Dogs is set in Chicago and The Division takes place in New York. But it’s still a cool little nod from Ubisoft Massive.

Have you had a chance to play The Division‘s open beta which is currently live on Xbox One? Let us know what you think in the comments. The full game is out on March 8th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
