Ubisoft updated its Facebook page today and promised “big news” to be revealed at 6 PM CET/5 PM BST. It didn’t outright say what it was but when you consider that Watch Dogs ads have promised a new trailer and release, and a team member from Ubisoft promised a big week for the game…well, what else could it be?
The story becomes even more convoluted when GAME Eastleigh gets involved. Apparently, the retail chain posted a May 27th release date for Watch Dogs. The listing was subsequently pulled but you can check it out below.
Convinced? Skeptical? Either way, Ubisoft promised that Watch Dogs would be out between April and June this year after its delay from November 2013. May 27th sounds as good a date as any, especially with E3 2014 rolling around two weeks later.
Watch Dogs will be arriving for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC, with a Wii U release due for later.
