Good news, true believers! Despite Ubisoft Montreal’s delay of Watch Dogs into Spring 2014 for both current and next gen versions, you won’t need to wait to get your fill of the open world hacking adventure. Ubisoft may have said that two months is enough for Los Santos, but Rockstar says, “We got your Aiden Pearce right here!”

Yes, you can don a baseball cap and a bandana, and yes you’ll probably be able to find a trench coat somewhere as well (as opposed to the normal jacket above). Yes, it’s heartless to say you could do this while waiting for Watch Dogs and perhaps sooth the pain of the delay. No, we will not accept that this wasn’t a good joke.

Watch Dogs will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. Stay tuned for more details on other open world games that haven’t been delayed and are very much available (why, hello Arkham Origins).
