The procedurally generated rogue-lite shooter is out today for Xbox One and PC.
Upstream Arcade’s roguelite isometric shooter West of Dead is out today for Xbox One and PC but will be releasing in August for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Fortunately, PS4 players won’t be waiting long. A new trailer from Raw Fury has confirmed the game’s release for August 5th.
The game takes place in Purgatory, Wyoming in 1888. As William Mason, you navigate through the constantly shifting halls, battling various souls while motivated by the memory of a figure in black. Cover-based shooting is the name of the game as you utilize a variety of different firearms to take them down.
Cover will improve one’s reload speed but crumbles after taking enough damage. So dodging and weaving between cover to take down foes is essentially. West of Dead currently has a free demo out on all platforms to try and familiarize yourself with the controls and gameplay. Stay tuned for more details as it nears release for Xbox One and PC.
