Where Winds Meet_02

Where Winds Meet, Everstone Studio’s free-to-play action RPG, reached nine million players in two weeks for its global launch. Not bad at all, especially considering it’s currently the fourth-best-selling title on Steam about a month later.

However, its journey is only just getting started. Alongside the mobile release on December 11th (December 12th depending on your region), a new zone, Roaring Sands, and two new bosses, the River Master and Feng Ruzhi, will be added. There will also be new limited-time events – Fortune Beyond Parlor and The Great Faceologist.

You can also look forward to the Velvet Shade Sect on December 14th, while December 21st sees the introduction of a new Sword Trial, “Scarlet Shock.” If that wasn’t enough, a new Hero’s Realm (the game’s version of ten-person raids) against the Twin Lions and Murong Yuan also goes live.

It all caps off with the Fireworks Festival on December 30th, though you can likely expect even more content in the new year. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.

Where Winds Meet is currently available for PS5 and PC. You can read our review here – we gave it a nine out of ten.
